Tolminska korita

The lowest point of Triglav National Park, where the Tolminka and Zadlaščica meet in two narrow slots.

About

A circular path of about ninety minutes drops into the confluence of two gorges. Highlights are the Devil’s Bridge 60 m above the Tolminka, the Bear’s Head — a boulder wedged between the walls — and a thermal spring in the Zadlaščica gorge. At 180 m this is the lowest ground in the national park, so it is walkable earlier and later in the year than the high valleys, and it is markedly quieter than Vintgar.
