restaurant
A long-standing Kobarid restaurant in Hotel Hvala, known for fish and Soča trout.
Topli Val is the restaurant of Hotel Hvala on Kobarid’s main square and has been one of the valley’s reference kitchens for a long time, well before the area became a food destination. The strength is fish — Adriatic seafood and, more to the point here, marble trout from the Soča — handled straightforwardly. It is a more conventional, less demanding alternative to the newer places and reliably good.
