A Vipava valley family estate working without added inputs, and a reference point for Slovenian natural wine.

About

Batič farms in the lower Vipava valley and has become one of the names most associated with natural and biodynamic winemaking in Slovenia — no added yeasts, minimal or no sulphur, long skin contact on the whites. The range includes the indigenous Vipava varieties zelen and pinela alongside rebula and Angel, their long-macerated blend. Visits and tastings are by arrangement, and the family will explain the method at length if you are interested.
