Stara Fužina is the village at the eastern end of Lake Bohinj, at the mouth of the Mostnica gorge, and this is where most walkers end up afterwards. The kitchen works from the valley: Bohinj cheese, cured meats, trout, buckwheat, and the rolled štruklji that give the place its name. Unpretentious, busy in season, and one of very few proper options inside the national park.
