EK is a compact bistro on the Petkovšek embankment doing brunch properly: good coffee, eggs, pancakes and open sandwiches, on a short menu that changes. It is genuinely popular with locals, which is why there is usually a wait at weekends. It fills the one gap the Slovenian gostilna tradition leaves — breakfast.
