Waarom bezoeken
Rogaška is the most architecturally intact of Slovenia’s historic spa towns — a long formal park flanked by grand hotels and a colonnade, developed from the early nineteenth century. Its water, Donat Mg, has an unusually high magnesium concentration and is drunk medicinally rather than bathed in. The town is also a glassmaking centre with a long crystal tradition. It suits a quiet, older, treatment-led stay rather than an active one.
