Waarom bezoeken

Podčetrtek is the eastern thermal belt at its most family-oriented: Terme Olimia is a large complex of indoor and outdoor thermal pools and slides, and it is one of the most reliable wet-weather destinations in the country. Two kilometres away, the Olimje monastery holds a pharmacy from around 1700 — among the oldest in Europe — with its original painted cabinets. The area is gentle, green, and considerably cheaper than the Alps.
