Druga Violina sits on the old town’s main street and serves a short menu of Slovenian standards — žličnik, rižota, štrukljI, sausage with mustard and horseradish — at prices well below what the location would suggest. It is operated in partnership with an organisation supporting people with developmental disabilities, and most of the staff are employees of that programme. It is genuinely popular with locals as well as visitors, which is unusual for the old town.
